Many games are coming out this year but which one will be the best of all? Every year the host of "Game of the Year" which is broadcasted around the world, Geoff Keighley, takes a poll from the people that voted on the best games that came out that year. Here are my top 5 choices that have a high chance to get Game of the Year.
Starting off with the games that came out at the beginning of the year, Elden Ring. Lots of excitement circled it because it was designed by Dark Souls creators, Hidetaka Miyazaki, Naotoshi Zin, Junya Ishizaki, Yuya Kimijima, Shigeto Hirai, and Hiroshi Yoshida. Every one of their games has done well in every way; two of their games have recieved the title of Game of the Year previously, and their company sold twenty-seven million copies with their first ever Dark Souls. It was released on February 25th on Ps4-5, XBOX and PC.
Horizon Forbidden West is an action role playing game, developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It’s the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn which was released on February 18th on PS4-5 and PC.
God of War Ragnarok is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and is going to be released by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is said to be released on November 9, 2022, on PS4-5. This is a solo campaign game, which is part of the God of War Series.
High on Life is an upcoming comedic-biopunk-first-person-shooter game by Squanch Games. It was conceived by Justin Roiland, who is known for his work on the TV series Rick and Morty and Solar Opposites. It takes place in a colorful, absurdist-science-fiction world and features anthropomorphic talking guns. It will be released on December 13th on PS4-5 PC andXBOX.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is an upcoming first-person-shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is a direct sequel to the 2019 Reboot, and will serve as the nineteenth game in the overall Call of Duty series. It will be released on October 28th.
