UCL Match Week 4

Champions League week 4 has ended, and what a week for UCL it was to say the very least; the amazing performances from the teams, and goals galore for soccer lovers to enjoy.

Liverpool took the top spot in the standings after their amazing performance against Bayer Leverkusen, who are in 13th place. Liverpool beat them 4-0 after a man of the match performance from the 27-year-old Colombian left-winger Luiz Diaz, who scored a hat trick that led his team to the win.  

Sporting CP took 2nd place, after their big 4-1 win against Manchester City, a shocking loss for Manchester City. 26-year-old Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres scored a hat trick to upset Manchester City who currently sit in 10th place.

Monaco beat Bologna with a 1-0 win to put them in 3rd after a last minute goal from the 28-year-old German defender Thilo Kehrer to put his team in 3rd and secure them the three points.

Brest are in 4th after beating Sparta Praha in a 2-1 win with an unfortunate own goal coming from the 25-year-old midfielder Kaan Kairinen to give Breast the win. 

Inter Milan beat Arsenal, who are in 12th place, 1-0 after a penalty kick was awarded to Inter Milan to give them the goal they needed to win the game. 30-year-old Turkish midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored the penalty kick to secure the three points and put his team in 5th place. 

Barcelona had an incredible 5-2 win against FK Crvena zvezda to put them in 6th place. A  brace came from the 36-year-old Robert Lewandowski. It was a great match for him and the whole Barcelona team. 

Borussia Dortmund, take 7th place in the standings after beating SK Sturm Graz with a 1-0 win. 25-year-old Donyell Malen scores a last minute goal for Dortmund to give them three points. 

Aston Villa after being top of the table drop to 8th after their 0-1 loss to Club Brugge. Club Brugge are in 22nd place, bringing them up in points after 32-year-old Hans Vanaken scores a penalty kick, an upset for Aston Villa fans. 

Atlanta placed 9th after defeating VfB Stuttgart 2-0, with goals coming from 25-year-old Nicolò Zaniolo, and from 27-year-old Ademola Lookman.

Juventus place in 11th after their 1-1 tie to LOSC Lille, with goals coming from Juventus player Dušan Vlahović and Lille player Jonathan David. LOSC Lille are currently in 14th place.  

Bayern Munich are in 17th place after beating Benfica 1-0 with the goal coming from 21-year-old midfielder Jamal Musiala. 

Real Madrid drop points and drop to 18th place after their 1-3 loss to AC Milan, who are two spots behind in 20th place, with goals coming from 23-year-old Malick Thiaw, 32-year-old Álvaro Morata, and 26-year-old Tijjani Reijnders.

Atlético Madrid beat PSG 2-1 to put them in 23rd place, with a last minute goal coming from 29-year-old Argentinian striker Ángel Correa.
