What To Watch During the Month of Love!

During the month of February, or commonly known as the “month of love,” everyone either has someone or is just by themselves, but either way, anyone can enjoy a good romance movie. No need to scroll through any streaming app, however, because I have listed the best romance movies from the late 1980s to the 2010s.

There are tons of romance movies, so I’ll narrow down the movies that I believe are my peers’ and mine’s favorite ones.

The 2010s was the decade that released many memorable movies. La La Land, Me Before You, Crazy, Stupid, Love, Crazy Rich Asians, Just Go With It, About Time, Love, Rosie, and Letters to Juliet are some good Valentine’s Day options.

The 2000s is one of the best decades, which produced some of the most iconic romance movies.

The Notebook, directed by Nick Cassavetes and starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, is ranked on IMDb as #1 for the Best 2000s Romance Movies. The list goes on with How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, which stars Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey, 13 Going On 30 with Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, and (500) Days of Summer with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel.

These popular romance movies were big in the 2000s because the audience instantly fell in love with the main couple and the lovey-dovey plot. The list consists of A Cinderella Story, She’s The Man, A Walk To Remember, 50 First Dates, The Proposal, and Maid in Manhattan

The 1990s is considered the decade that produced the best romance movies. The top romance movie picks from the 1990s are 10 Things I Hate About You, Pretty Woman, Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, Notting Hill, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Romeo + Juliet, Titanic, and While You Were Sleeping.

Here are more popular romance movies from the 1990s: My Girl, She’s All That, Can’t Hardly Wait, Never Been Kissed, and Now and Then

These movies aren’t from the 1990s but the 1980s:  When Harry Met Sally… and, The Princess Bride.

Netflix recommends the best romantic movies to watch are The Vow, 20th Century Girl, Always Be My Maybe, No Hard Feelings, The Other Zoey, and the To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before series.

Musical romance movies like Grease, Rent, Hairspray, West Side Story, Mamma Mia, Another Cinderella Story, and the High School Musical series and the feeling of falling in love and singing at the same time blew people away.

All of these romantic movies are recommended to anyone if they’re in a relationship, situationship, have a crush or are single.

My personal romance movie favorites are Flipped, 10 Things I Hate About You, She’s All That, Pride & Prejudice, Can’t Help Falling In Love, and She’s Dating The Gangster.
