Name a Song by the Jackson 5

The Jackson 5 were a musical group active between 1964 and 1989. The brothers, Michael, Randy, Tito, Jermaine, Jackie, and Marlon, are originally from Gary, Indiana. Their lead singer, Michael, was just 6 years old when the group performed their first show in 1964. In December of 1969 after fifty-five performances, they were finally signed by the record label Motown.

The brothers grew up together in a strict household managed by their father, Joe Jackson. He was stern and pushed his boys to do better as a musical group because he saw their potential.

Movies and TV shows have been made about the Jackson 5, the most famous of which is a mini-series TV special they appeared in called XYZ. The mini series aired on ABC on the “Soul Train Awards Show”.

Motown released the Jackson 5’s first album, Diana Ross Presents the Jackson 5, on December 12, 1969. When it was released, it reached number one on billboards in the United states. The album sold six million copies.
