After two successful indie games, Bandai Namco Entertainment will be releasing the third installment in the Little Nightmares series.
Released in 2018, Little Nightmares was a simple but effective horror and puzzle game, with a sequel that came out in 2020. This game will be similar, but with two characters we haven't seen in the games or comics.
The game will follow the same general story as the previous two, playing as characters exploring a world that is seemingly always against them. Unlike Little Nightmares one and two, this game will be two-player, with online co-op or an AI companion, whereas the previous games were focused on being alone in a big world.
In the trailer, you can see the main characters solve puzzles in many different environments, including a sandy wasteland, a sewer, a run-down carnival, and a city. You can also see the two new characters, Low and Alone, who are surrounded by a world that is so much bigger than them.
The game will be coming out sometime in 2024 and will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It will be $40 regardless of the platform, with the age rating still pending.
