Hey Mesa Nation, it’s that time of year; Club Rush is next week! It is an event where clubs from our school share information, connect with potential members, and sell food to promote their clubs. Clubs also have flyers and banners that tell you what the club is about or what they do, and if you want to, you can sign up for a club. Some of the clubs consist of Skate Club, Mock Trial Club, Asian Culture Club, Garden Club, and Jesus Club.
Students always look forward to food like popcorn, Crumbl cookies, pizza, and Cane’s. The line that is always packed every year is the line for Cane’s and pizza.
Most of the food that is sold ranges from $1 to $10, and they are not accepting any bills over $20. The money they earn is spent on funding their clubs, like clothing, sponsors, or even field trips.
During Club Rush, the band will be performing. Make sure you stop by on Friday, September 26, to buy food and support clubs, and stay tuned for the Hitching Post Wrap Up of the event, complete with photos and food reviews.
