There is in fact free general admission, so stepping into the pumpkin patch costs nothing, but parking and activities have separate fees. The pumpkin patch has a great variety of pumpkins, lots of fun rides, and really cool decorations that you can purchase! Pumpkins range from $10 to $25 depending on what you are looking for and they also sell squash and gourds. The rides require tickets that cost $1.70 each. These tickets can be purchased in bundles, and each ride tends to be 4 tickets. The rides provided there are inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a train, bounce houses, and this isn’t a ride but there is also a petting zoo! The fall decorations that you might be interested in buying are scarecrows, cornstalks, Indian corn, and straw bales, all available at the Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch.

The pumpkin patch also offers a great job opportunity for students. If you go to Costa Mesa High you can just walk across the street after school to get there and if you are interested in working there you will indeed need a work permit and you will need to meet the minimum age requirement of 16 years old. Working at the pumpkin patch could be a great opportunity for students to gain work experience while still being close to their school. If you are interested in the job some of the things you would be doing are guest services and ticketing, so you would be handling the money and taking care of transactions. Attraction and ride operations, so you could manage lines, collect tickets, and help parents and kids onto different rides. If you are over 18, you may be trained to operate mechanical rides. Then finally patch maintenance, you would have to unload pumpkin shipments, rolling or carrying pumpkins around the lot, and setting up display areas. Overall  working at the pumpkin patch can be a great experience for students to earn money, have fun, and be involved in the fall experience.

In conclusion, with Halloween just around the corner, the Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch is a great place to enjoy the fall season with your friends and family. Whether you are picking out a pumpkin, going on rides, visiting the petting zoo, or even looking for a job, there is something for everyone.
