“One More Time…” hit the Billboard Top 200 when it was released last October. This was also the first album since Tom Delonge's return in 2022, with the band's 2011 album “Neighborhoods.” The Trio is currently still on their big stadium tour on the U.K. leg of it, with a big festival soon like Austin City Limits.
Blink-182 started out as a skate punk band out of Poway, California in August of 1992. The Original Line-up— Tom Delonge (vocals, Guitar), Mark Hoppus (Vocals, Bass), and Scott Raynor (Drums)— released their debut album “Cheshire Cat” when they still used the name “Blink.” In 1998,Scott Raynor, was dropped from the band. The then Aquabats drummer, Travis Barker, filled in and brought the band to a whole new level, with “Enema of The State” being arguably the band's biggest release. It included hits like “All the Small Things” and “What's My Age Again.”
Every band has its highs and some lows. As well as Blink-182. September 19, 2008, Travis Barker Was on a plane with 5 other people. This plane unfortunately crashed and only Barker and DJ Adam Goldstein survived. Another unfortunate story was Mark Hoppus’ battle with stage 4 Lymphoma. Which he did fortunately beat.
