The frosh/soph volleyball team took the win over Valencia yesterday, besting them 25-15 in set 1 and 25-20 in set 2. So far, the Frosh record is 6 wins and 1 loss, including pre-season games and out of league games.
Coach Ms. Flati said, “I’m so proud of my team — they work hard every day, support each other, and model the MESA way on and off the court. I have the honor of working with some of the most amazing young women on our campus and I love watching them become more skilled, more competitive, and more resilient. Coaching volleyball has changed my life! We have a great season ahead.”
Team member Monroe Ward scored 7 points serving for the Mustangs. “When I go to serve, I block everything else out,” she shared. The cheering section of parents, teachers, and fans offered support and loved getting the chance to see the Lady Mustangs bring home the W.
