Food was Snowing Down at Santa’s Village

Santa’s Village took place this past Friday, on December 12, 2025. This is the second out of the 3 food fairs that are supposed to happen this school year. In the beginning of the school year we had Club Rush, and now we recently just had Santa’s Village. Later on in the school year there will be the International Food Fair, which is when many clubs bring varieties of food from different countries.

This year Santa’s Village was packed, and maybe it was due to the new addition of Wingstop and In-N-Out.  The most popular items were Chick-fil-A sold by NJHS, Asian food sold by the Asian Culture Club, and Arizona Iced Tea sold by NHS. Most of these items were sold out in minutes. In addition, the school made the time an hour long so we were able to enjoy the food.

Interviewee Charlie Kash is head of the activities commissioner, and he told us the behind-the-scenes of what goes on for Santa Village. “We start to organize Santa’s Village like a couple of weeks before; we organize where each group will be and what they will be selling. After it, they use all the money to fund their club and the school. They support their club and merchandise like shirts, hoodies, and hats.”

As a result, Santa’s Village was very helpful for the school and the clubs. Make sure you bring money next time later in the year when the International Food Fair takes place.
