Alix Earle vs. Alexandra Cooper

Hey Mesa Nation and welcome back to this week’s article on The Hitching Post! Do you guys know the famous TikTok influencer Alix Earle? Or perhaps have you heard of the famous podcast owner Alexandra Cooper?  Did you know that currently they have been publicly fighting online? In this article, you’ll be getting a brief rundown of who they are, and what’s going on.

For those who don’t know who Alix Earle is, she is a well known TikTok influencer, famous for her ‘Get ready with me’ videos. Earle got famous in 2022 after making a vulnerable post about her struggles with acne, which helped her gain a following, as viewers felt her content was relatable. After this, she never stopped posting content. With the stepping stone of TikTok, her fame grew to other social platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. Alexandra Cooper had noticed her, and let Earle start her own Podcast, Hot Mess, for Cooper’s company. She also recently has launched a skincare brand called Reale Actives, which is currently skyrocketing.

Alexandra Cooper had a similar upbringing as Alix Earle. In 2018, she started her podcast, Call Her Daddy, which involved the interviews of other celebrities and influencers, getting all the drama for the fans. She quickly became famous, growing her empire, and further skyrocketing her podcast. Cooper also has her own brand, Unwell, which is similar to Liquid IV, but caffeinated.

Earle and Cooper have been friends since the start of Earle’s podcast in late October of 2024. After Earle’s sudden departure of Cooper’s company in late 2025 with no explanation, the two have had some tension.

As of recently, Earle has been publicly commenting hate about Cooper on TikTok and Instagram. After weeks of the backlash, Cooper posted a TikTok on April 13th of 2026, telling Earle she has seen all the hate, and asks Earle to “You’re gonna need to get specific and just say what you gotta say about me.” Earle had seen this and quickly commented “Okay on it!!” leaving fans at the edge of their seats to see what happens next.

So far, Earle only posted a TikTok, not addressing the situation, but showing her reaction to it with her friends and how she found it amusing. However, since then, Brianna Chickenfry, another famous influencer, who has known both the two and at times been friends, came online and spoke about the situation. Chickenfry uses her podcast, Plan Bri, to bring up the situation using what Earle allowed her to say, “The drama is not a PR stunt” and how, “Alix is sitting on something that she doesn’t know, so she’s making that TikTok calling her out because she’s clearly thinking, ‘how bad can it be?’”.

With Chickenfry’s own experience, she talks about how it’s, “Not surprising, Alex has always been a mean girl, and embraces being a mean girl.”

As of now, since the interview and Alix Earles reaction video, nothing has been said, but fans stay curious in every single comment section. Based on this reading, or if you’re a fan, what do you think? Is the drama really that serious?
