This season the girls Water Polo team is low on players.
A majority of the prior years’ team have graduated and/or moved on to new sports.
The girls Water Polo team is Division 5 this season and, in the past, CIF finalists.
But, why should you join the girls Water Polo team?
For one, you get in the pool everyday - before and after school.
As well as this, athletes learn teamwork and how to persevere through the tough aspects of the sport in order to really appreciate the fun aspects.
If you don't know how to swim, you can always learn at any time.
The coaches, Mesa Alumni Dustin and Cody Serrano, have no problem teaching you how to swim - you just have to show up willing to learn.
The varsity girls’ first game is this Friday, November 19, where they will be playing Garden Grove
