With the past decade ending, ASB dance commission and student council decided that they wanted to celebrate our childhoods in style. The “Dancing Through The Decades” dance will be Friday, January 17th, 2020. You’ll be able to purchase a ticket on January 13th up till the actual dance itself, as long as you have your ID card and signed dance contract. Dance contracts will be available Friday the 10th in room 284, the middle school office and at the ASB window. Tickets can be purchased and contracts can be signed by an administrator at the door of the dance if needed. Once inside, you’ll find many food options such as a nacho stand, popcorn, and a bunch of snacks from our generation like animal crackers, cosmic brownies, pop rocks, fruit roll-ups, wax bottle candy, gogurt, cheez its, string cheese, pizza pockets, pop tarts, and chewy bars. For game options they plan on setting up Jenga and ping pong. The dance is expected to sell around 200+ tickets, as they normally sell around 200 tickets and this dance is, in my opinion, one of the best ideas chosen by student council and ASB.
