Who is Costa Mesa High School’s Athletic Trainer

The Costa Mesa High School athletic trainer's name is Brittany Ordos. An athletic trainer's job is to ensure safety with athletes, help with injuries, rehabilitation with injures, and more.

To locate Brittany, you will have to head over to where the dome is and look for a room in between the big gym and the boys' locker room. There, you will arrive at her room.

If she's not there, she usually will have a note on her door saying where she is, or when she will be back. If there’s no note, she isn't there yet and will be arriving at 1pm to her room.

Her main duty as an athletic trainer is to help all students that are eligible for any sport. That includes taping, wound care, massage, stretching, exercise training, and more.

Not only that, her duty is to travel with any sport that she is needed at. For example, she will always be needed in the varsity and frosh football games and practices. She also may be needed in any other sport if she’s told.

The Costa Mesa High School athletic trainer is always happy to have her kiddos in her room, but she will do what she needs to do if nobody listens to her room rules.

Her number one rule that she will always have in her room is, “No one is allowed to get my supplies unless given permission. If not, you will be removed from the supply area.”

This is her most important rule because her supplies come every July 1st, and she needs to make them last the whole school year, for every sport.

Her second most important rule that she has is “No photographs or videos of any athlete getting helped.” She helps athletes from different schools and wants them to feel comfortable with everyone in the room.

At the end of the day, Brittany will always be by her students’ sides, supporting and helping them out with any needed treatment. She will also be happy and proud to have anyone come and get treated by her. Not only that, she would love for her youth to know, “Whatever you choose to do, give it 100% always.”
