With the recent transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus to Manchester, feelings of excitement and joy loomed over the United fans with the feeling of the “glory days” coming back.
Sadly, this has not been the case for the Manchester based team.
Although Cristiano has an impressive 9 goal contributions this season, United has a record of 5-2-4.
At first glance, it seems to be a decent record but when considering the historical prestige and achievements of the club, this record is not so impressive.
To add more to this, Manchester has recently lost to rival Liverpool 0-5, an extremely poor result for the club and one that will go down in history as one of the worst losses in United’s history.
While the club has had its fair share of spectacular moments, many believe that the problem is coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer has coached the club for almost 4 years and has not brought back any silverware in any competitions.
While he had a respectable run to the Europa League Final, it was nonetheless an embarrassing loss for the club.
United's problems seem to keep piling up at an unprecedented rate and many people in the football community believe there is no hope unless the club makes a change with the coaching staff.
