Controversy in the PSG and Newcastle match: When Newcastle were winning 1-0 with three minutes left, and Ousmane Dembele attempted a cross into the box, it hit Livramento’s arm, which the referee did not see at that current moment. A few seconds later, after protests from PSG players, the referee was called by VAR to review the incident and gave a penalty to PSG which they scored from, finishing the game 1-1. This has caused controversy as some say his arm was in a natural position meaning that the penalty shouldn't have been given, but there are others saying that if his arm wasn't there and tucked behind him, the cross would have gone into the box and created a chance.
