Public Opinion on Lunchly

Lunchly is a lunch kit similar to Lunchables that has been found to be unhealthy in multiple instances.

The nutritional value of Lunchly is not healthy for a child, the audience they market to, with Lunchly’s meal kits having at least 25% to 35% of calories from saturated fat. The American Heart Association says people should reach less than 6%. Not only that, but each meal contains 12-14% of calories from added sugars, which fails to meet the USDA recommendation that kid’s lunches contain 10% or less calories from added sugar.

Lunchly also contains processed foods. If you eat enough of Lunchly, it could lead to children or even adults to having obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.

There have also been many reviews on Lunchly online. There's been a doctor reacting to it, Mikhail Varshavski, who suggests not to eat it. Many people compare Lunchly to the brand they so clearly ripped off, Lunchables. Many people would often choose Lunchly due to the advertisement for it being healthier, claiming it has more protein, less calories, and fewer grams of sugar. Although both are unhealthy, many people on YouTube think Lunchables and Lunchly are pretty similar.
