Oh the Places We’ll Go: The Bridge to Nowhere

Welcome readers to the first edition of the weekly article “Oh The Places We’ll Go” where we will be reviewing interesting and fun places that you can go to—from a student’s perspective! In our first edition we will be reviewing “The Bridge to Nowhere”, a hiker’s paradise that quite literally leads to nowhere.

The hiking trail is about 6.9 miles to the bridge and another 6.9 miles back. Hikers will experience crossing through rivers, narrow trails, and high mountains.

During my hike there I decided to interview some hikers to see what they thought. Our first hiker stated, “It’s very beautiful, it’s a great place to unwind”.

The hike’s difficulty level is 5-7/10 depending on your experience as a hiker. And a sweet surprise waits for daring adventures at the end—Bungee Jumping!

At the end of the hike you will arrive at a bridge that abruptly ends and there is a small area where you can pay $120 to jump off of a bridge in gear. When you do so you’ll receive a free t-shirt.

All in all this is an awesome experience and everyone should go, I would rate this place a 4.5/5! There are a few things you should keep in mind if you decide to go. The only bathrooms are at the beginning of the hike, so use them while you have the chance! Also, pack tons of water and food/snacks, you’re gonna need it! Good luck and so long till next week’s edition of “Oh The Places We’ll Go”.
