Hunter Biden pleads not guilty to gun charges

Hunter Biden pleads not guilty against three federal firearms charges.

Biden has also been charged with lying about his drug use in October 2018, when trying to buy a gun. If convicted, he could be looking at 25 years in prison. His lawyer, Abbe Lowell, is currently trying to file and dismiss these charges. Lowell had told the judge, “Mr. Biden pleads not guilty to the three counts that have been brought against him.”

Biden had been struggling with cocaine use in October 2018, but his lawyers claim he didn’t break the law. On Tuesday, October 3rd 2023, however, the judge was notified Biden had been drug tested various times, and they all came back negative.

“Earlier this summer, Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to misdemeanor tax charges and would have also avoided prosecution on the gun charges had he stayed out of trouble for two years.”

Now there's a special council, who will handle the rest of this case due to all the new tax fraud allegations coming in.
