Historic Win at Mile High!

In a huge upset no one saw coming, the Denver Broncos put the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, to sleep at mile high stadium!

It might not have been Halloween yet, but the Denver Broncos’ Mile High Stadium was a haunted house as the reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs were handed a brutal loss for the first time against the Broncos in over 9 years!

The divisional rivalry between these two teams used to run hot in the early 2000s, but it simmered down as the Chiefs began to run rampant in the AFC, destroying every team in front of them, with the help of generational talents like Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill

In a huge upset like this, you’d expect to see the underdogs with a comeback win, or a late game winner in a tiebreaker, but this was not the case in this game. The Denver Broncos would open the game up with a touchdown to Star Jerry Jeudy to take the lead early, and the Chiefs would never recover.

The Chiefs would score a field goal in both the 1st and 2nd quarter, however, the Broncos were steamrolling with momentum, scoring another touchdown to bolster their lead over the champions, finishing the first half up 14-9.

Social media and fans were ablaze, “Broncos DESTROYED the Chiefs!” flooded Twitter.

The second half would only look better for Russell Wilson and the Broncos defense, as they would shut the historic Chiefs offense out completely to zero points, and another passing touchdown for Wilson.

It began as a very, very tough season for the broncos, falling below .500 on the season, and losing to a record score 70-0 to the Miami Dolphins, but things are looking up now as they have the momentum to carry this huge win into their next game.

Chiefs star tight end, Travis Kelce, is in a romantic relationship with superstar musician Taylor Swift, so when the game was called to an end, the Broncos had some fun with him, playing Taylor Swift music over the stadium’s intercoms!
