Demon Slayer, known for its detail-oriented animation style, is getting its second movie next month.
In this movie, Tanjiro will undergo training with the Stone Hashira, Himejima, to get strong enough to defeat Muzan, the demon who killed Tanjiro's family.
The first season of the show starts with Tanjiro's family being attacked by demons, with only two members surviving, Tanjiro and his sister. Tanjiro sets out to become a demon slayer to avenge his family and find a cure for his sister, who is turning into a demon.
The trailer shows clips of mostly returning characters Tengen Uzui, Shinobu Kocho, and Mitsuri Kanroji. It is also going to include characters mainly seen in the book such as Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himjima.
The movie will be in theaters February 23. It will also have the same voice actors as the show with Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kito as Nezuko and Tomoku Sugita as the Stone Hashira.
