So finding music venues with all ages is a difficult task in Orange County. So here’s a list of the top ten music venues in southern California.
1). The Observatory
The Observatory has a great selection of performances, not only that, but the performances are nightly, meaning you can find a show for any day that works for you. It is located in Santa Ana, CA. The Venue may seem small, but it is actually pretty large, it just fills up quickly so if you know a show you want to see, I would suggest buying tickets a few weeks before hand.
2). The Constellation Room
The Constellation Room is a small venue that is connected to The Observatory. Although it is a small venue, the sound is great, and you get to watch shows with more of an intimate setting.
3). The Pacific Amphitheater
The Pacific Amphitheater is right in your backyard, for it is right on fair drive, in Costa Mesa California. This Venue is large and outdoor, with ground floor “seating” as well as terrace and orchestra seating. The ticket prices vary depending on seating and who’s performing, but are still very affordable.
4). City National Grove of Anaheim
The city National grove Of Anaheim is located in Anaheim CA, with seating for 1,700 people they have singers to kids shows playing weekly. Box office is open monday through friday 10am to 6pm and saturday 12pm to 4pm. Also the box office has monthly deals on tickets and large groups. Memberships are optional but highly recommended.

5). The Coach House
The Coach House is a neat venue with the option of making a dinner reservation. And the sooner you make a reservation for a show, the better your seats will be! This venue seats 480 people, and 300 seats are reserved for dinner patrons. Prices for tickets vary upon what show you attend.
6). The House of Blues
The House of Blues is a moderately large indoor venue with floor level tickets and orchestra seating as well. Not only does it have concerts, but also gospel brunches. They have a restaurant and bar as well as live music. Tickets are affordable, especially for the amount of entertainment that you get.
7). The Legacy Room
The Legacy Room is a great place to bring your family and friends for live music. It is commonly known as a launching pad for beginning bands and artists. It’s a nice clean venue with an amazing staff. However its a forty minute drive but highly worth it. Reasonable priced tickets and no happy hour. This venue is located in Chino Hills.
8). Chain Reaction
Chain Reaction is a small venue, with extremely cheap tickets. Definitely more bang for your buck! Playing mostly punk and hard rock, you can find an array of types of music performed here.
9). Hollywood Bowl
This venue offers many things from summer programs for kids to concerts. From picnic locations to shuttle rides to the parking structure. The box office hours are Monday, May 6 – Sunday, May 12: 10AM – 6PM (Closed Monday, May 13) and the Beginning Tuesday, May 14: 12PM – 6PM (Tue – Sun). You can order online or through the mail. 10). The Old House of Blues Club
This venue is an hour drive but highly worth it. Located in Temecula the Old House Of Blues Club is a great place to have fun and enjoy yourself. Shows from Dueling pianos to stand up comedy all week. The business hours are Wed:6:00 – 11:00 PM Thu: 6:00 – 11:00 PM. Fri: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM. Sat: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM. Sun: 1:00 – 6:00 PM. However there is alcohol but don’t worry they have soft drinks too for you under age partiers.
