Lady Gaga’s ‘Harlequin’ for ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’

Lady Gaga, also known as Stefani Joanna Angelina, had a countdown that started the release of her new album Harlequin at 9 p.m. on September 26th.

This album contains 13 tracks, beginning with “Good Morning” and ending with “That's Life,” giving the album a blunt end.

This album is for the movie 'Joker: Folie à Deux', meaning Madness of Two, in which she plays the role of Lee Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn.

The film, directed by Todd Phillips, who directed the 2019 film Joker, was released on October 4th. When Todd Phillips was asked about the reason he returned to the film, the Joker, he said, “I didn't want it to end.”

The movie follows the storyline of the Joker discovering his love, Harley Quinn, at the Arkham State Hospital.

Lady Gaga’s song for Top Gun: Maverick, “Hold My Hand,” was released in 2022. After that, she stopped producing music— that is, until recently, when she and Bruno Mars released their new single, “Die With A Smile,” on August 16th.

Her now-fiancé, Michael Polanski, got her back into making pop music. On October 1st, during Jimmy Kimmel Live, she stated, “Micheal is the person who told me to make a new pop record. He was like, ‘Babe. I love you. You need to make pop music.’”

So, presumably, she will release another pop album that is suspected to be released by the beginning of 2025.

This album marks the third production she has made for a movie, similar to A Star is Born and Top Gun: Maverick.

Now we just sit back, relax, and await the release of a new Gaga album.
