As we have been underway in the Premier League season, Tottenham Hotspurs have stolen the show and sit in first place.
The Lilywhites had a complete revamp this summer, as they signed an astonishing eight players, including James Maddison, Pedro Porro, Micky Van De Ven, and Guglielmo Vicario.
Along with the new signings who have completely changed the form of the team, new manager, Ange Postecoglou, has brought an exciting and passionate style of play to North London, despite the departure of Club legend, Harry Kane.
The team has destroyed all the odds and critics against them. One of Postecoglou’s major changes this season was changing Son Heung-min from left-winger to a central striker . This change has been fruitful for Spurs, as he is the top scorer on the team and has created a wonderful connection with James Maddison.
Maddison has also been a revelation for Spurs, as he brings exciting creativity and energy onto the Lilywhites’ midfield. The Spurs have started the season off with seven wins, two draws, and zero losses.
A fantastic start to the season as they currently sit first place in the Premier League after a 2-0 win against Fulham.
Postecoglou also broke a record for a new manager's first season, as he now has the record for the most points gained by a new manager in their first nine Premier League matches, with 23 points currently.
Many critics believed that the Spurs would struggle after the departure of world-class striker, Harry Kane, but the team has ironically improved much more than what anyone believed. Truly a fascinating and exciting team that continues to be unbelievable.
