Detroit has disappointed their fans this year with a season that leaves much to be desired.
Coming up on Week 13 however, Detroit had something far greater than a win to offer.
Along with said win, head coach Dan Campbell emotionally commemorated the game ball to the Oxford community, as well as all those who were affected by the tragedy.
“I want us to not forget these names,” Campbell stated in a Week 13 post-game press conference.
Being a Michigan team, the Lions’ organization reached a lot of local citizens in a time of mourning and had fans momentarily disregard the overall disappointing season with the team's effort to give the state something to smile about - a more than perfect compensation.
