This past Saturday, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund went head to head in the most famous match in Germany—Der Klassiker. A rivalry between the two that has been going on for 60 years.
In the past 10 meetings between the two, Bayern have been unbeaten with a combined nine wins and one draw. The match would take place in Dortmund, Germany and be held in the Signal Iduna Park stadium.
The match would open up with Dayot Upamecano scoring in the fourth minute. From there on out, Bayern would continue to dominate.
Five minutes later, Harry Kane scored to make the lead 2-0. Following into the second half, Kane would go on to score two more goals and complete his hat-trick as Bayern would finish off the match with a dominant performance.
Bayern continue their superior history over Dortmund and currently sit in 2nd place in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Leverkusen.
