A Holiday Full of Ups and Downs
Looking to incorporate a little thrill into your holidays? If so, I recommend going to Knotts Merry Farm. The Merry Farm event takes place from November 16 to January 6, and a one day only ticket cost 50 dollars. The theme park offers many beautiful holiday sights, activities, and attractions. The Park is full of holiday spirit where thousands of people come from all over to visit the park to admire the lights and participate in the many holiday activities. There are seasonal sights, which include numerous Christmas trees covered in lights and breathtaking ornaments. There is one extremely tall Christmas tree that towers high above Ghost Town. There is also sometimes fake snow that falls from the air. Other decorations are the many wreaths put up around the park. Overall, the entire park is beautifully decorated for the holiday season.
There are also many holiday activities. They have several holiday related plays. One of these plays is Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. You could also see snoopy ice skating or get read to by Charlie Brown. Ghost Town transforms into a shopping wonderland during Christmas Crafts Village. During this event the streets are full of artisans selling their one of a kind gifts. Another thing you could do is stop by Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen to decorate cookies. The cost of the cookie decorating kit is $5.99. There is one cool store where you can buy geodes, along with other types of rocks. The geodes can be as old as 40 to 50 million years old. For those of you who are thrillseekers you could hop on Xcelerator, this ride accelerates you from 0 to 82 mph in 2.3 seconds. Or you could go on the first and only dive coaster in California, Hangtime. This ride also has the steepest drop in California, which is 96 degrees. So, if you want to see beautiful sights, amazing activities, and crazy attractions, let me recommend Knotts Merry Farm.
