Welcome back to Chloe’s College Corner. In today’s article, I will be answering 3 of your submitted questions! The three I have chosen are:
- Would you get your own dorm?
- Do all colleges provide school aid?
- How much financial aid is available?
Dorms
Let’s talk about dorms! Most colleges have available single dorms. However, they cost extra. The price varies depending on the size of the room, the college you are attending, and how long you plan to stay. Because the question is hinting that you would get it handed to you, the answer is no. Most colleges offer you a shared dorm, which implies you have to ask for a dorm to yourself. But in some cases, dorms have separate rooms and a common room, which is somewhat close to single style living.
School Aid
The next question being answered, “Do all colleges provide school aid?” The answer is yes! Most of the aid provided is through FAFSA. FAFSA is almost like free money specifically for school. You have to apply and put in specific information. The application is then looked at, and if you are eligible for their scholarship, they will transfer you money for school! Financial Aid
The last question I will be addressing today is, “How much financial aid is available?” There is no direct answer to this question. However, the money given through financial aid differs for everyone. You could get more money than someone just for being left handed. Essentially, the lower income your family has, the more money you acquire. But as said above, you can get money for traits you may have.
