As the Christmas season begins, and music on the radio turns jolly, why not listen to it being played live by Mesa’s ensembles?
This December 11th, there will be a concert from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Costa Mesa High School Performing Arts Center for “Sounds of the Season.”
This concert's online general admission fee is $5.00 per person.
They will play in the order of Jazz Band, Beginning Band, Chamber Orchestra, Beginning Strings, Intermediate Band, String Orchestra, and lastly, Advanced Band.
Some of the musical pieces that will be played are “Silent Night” by the Beginning Band, the Intermediate Band will perform “Angels we've Heard,” and “Songs for Hanukkah”.
Another piece that will be performed is shared with the Advanced Band and the Orchestra, “The Most Wonderful Time of The Year.”
The Advanced Band will be playing “A Christmas Festival,” “Festival of the Season,” “Sleigh Ride,” and finally, Costa Mesa High School’s field show, “Once Upon a Time.”
