PlayStation and Xbox users have been waiting a while for this release. Kinetic Games has finally announced that Phasmophobia early access for consoles will be available on October 29th.
The developers, Kinetic Games, have stated that they will be increasing the price of the game from $13.99 to $19.99.
Kinetic Games has already sold 15.1 million copies worldwide on just PC since the game's early access release in September 2020. All 14 members of the Kinetic Games team heard the feedback, and the fans on console were begging for it to be available to play for them.
Kinetic Games was set for a console release in October 2023, but unfortunately the studio endured a fire, delaying the release a whole year. Since then, it was radio silence on what the plan was or if there was even a future for Phasmophobia on console, up until October 18, 2024!
Kinetic Games, a studio from the U.K., was founded in 2018 by Daniel Knight. He first started working on Spectrophobia in 2018. In 2020, he renamed it to what we know today as “Phasmophobia.” It is their first and only release.
