Mesa Musical: The Addam’s Family

CMHS’ newest musical is coming up!

The drama department is putting on a production of The Addams Family. If you aren’t aware of the notorious “Addams Family,” they are a family who is, in a sense, upside down. Our sad is their happy.

The family consists of the parents, Gomez and Morticia, their kids, Wednesday and Pusley, their Uncle Fester, their butler, Lurch, and Grandma.

The Addams Family originated from the TV show, “The Addams Family”, that ran from 1964 to 1966.

They then had a movie series which came out in 1991, and “Addams Family Values”, that came out in 1993.

There have been many other adaptations of the family, such as a pixar adaption, and a musical adaption.

In the musical adaptation of ”Addams Family'', Wednesday falls in love with a “normal” boy, Lucas. This leads her to inviting Lucas’s family to dinner with hers.

In true Addam’s Family fashion, chaos ensues.

The show will be presented March 17-19, at 7:00 p.m., along with an additional Matinee show on the 19th at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets to see the show will be selling at the ASB window starting March 10th and will also be at the door.

Tickets cost $15, unless you are a senior citizen, a child under 12, or have the ASB sticker, where if you qualify tickets will cost you only $10.
